I am very impressed with the care that I received from Ms Chaudhry at The Great Western Hospital. I greatly appreciate Ms Chaudhry's approach to her work. She is incredibly compassionate and kind. She works is an appropriately paced way, always giving 100% consideration to me and my needs, thoughts and feelings. I have felt so cared for throughout my treatment with Ms Chaudhry, I believe we quickly built up a trusting Surgeon/Patient relationship and this is because Ms Chaudhry conveyed nothing but respect for me. I have always felt that I understood everything Ms Chaudhry told me in consultations. She gives me time to digest the information involved in each stage of my treatment. She allows as much time as is needed for questions to be asked and details to be clarified. Her positive attitude was able to help me lift myself out of the dark times that often occur during breast cancer treatment. I cannot fault Ms Chaudhry in any area of her work. I can honestly say that I have no negative comments about Ms Chaudhry. I have negative thoughts about the times when Ms Chaudhry was so good as to leave care instructions for other people to follow and they let both her and myself down. Ms Chaudhry always has the patients best interests at heart. She sought to empower me during my cancer treatment with knowledge and options. She also has an incredibly steady hand and my scar lines are minimal and neat, allowing for quicker healing. I am thrilled with my new left breast and the healing of the adjustments to the other breast. Ms Chaudhry is a wonderful person, surgeon and teacher. I have learned so much about breast cancer and its treatment, diet, exercise and positive thinking in the face of adversity. I am so grateful to still be alive and that is down to the hard work and dedication of Ms Chaudhry and The Breast Clinic team (Including Mr Coombes). A Thank You to Ms Chaudhry and everyone involved in my treatment - these words do not seem enough when compared to all the help I have received. :-)

I am a student nurse and had the opportunity to see Ms Chaudhry in Theatres with her patients before I was referred to her personally. She treats all her patients with dignity and respect and has an air about her that instils confidence and trust. I personally felt that she listened to my concerns and addressed them all without making me feel rushed or like a nuisance. She ensured that I left my appointment with a clear understanding of the situation and what would be happening next. I don't think there is anything she could do to give me greater care.

The care I received was more than first class ,so no improvement needed.Ms Chaudhry put me at ease as soon as I walked into her room,she explained everything so as I could understand it.I would be happy to visit Ms Chaudhry if I had any concerns in the future.Thank you so much to all at the breast department for quick and great care.

I would like to thank Ms Chaudhry for the care she took over my mastectomy. Her manner talking to me face to face and looking me in the eyes gave me great confidence that all would be well with her doing my operation. I also had very good treatment from the anaesthetist Yvonne. I was not so happy with the aftercare from the district nurses but I am now in the care of the breast care nurses and feel much happier.

On the three occasions I have met Miss Chaudhry she has not only been totally professional but also warm & engaging. My condition & treatment was explained in clear, understandable language and I am always encouraged to ask questions & discuss any concerns. I am delighted she's my consultant.
